New Delhi: The Indian Air Force (IAF) executed a stunning military operation, dubbed Operation Sindoor, between May 7 and 10, 2025, targeting nine terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). The operation was launched in retaliation for the April 22, 2025, terror attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, which claimed 26 civilian lives, mostly Hindu tourists. By jamming Pakistan’s Chinese-supplied air defense systems, including the HQ-9 and LY-80, the IAF completed its mission in just 23 minutes, demonstrating India’s technological superiority and strategic resolve.

The IAF’s strikes obliterated key terror infrastructure, including Jaish-e-Mohammed’s headquarters in Bahawalpur and Lashkar-e-Taiba’s base in Muridke, killing at least 100 terrorists.
