Modi’s government at the center, Bhudan land is a victim of loot! Lakhs of acres of Bhudan land is still lying in Bihar and Jharkhand! Actually, Bhudan land is being looted by land mafia!

Recently, Prashant Kishor, leader of Jan Suraj in Bihar has demanded from Chief Minister Nitish Kumar that why the government has not yet given three decimal land to the landless poor and Mahadalits of the state to build houses? Prashant Kishor is asking this question because the current Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had created the Mahadalit community by dividing the Dalit community to further his politics and had promised to provide three decimals of land to everyone. But the Mahadalits of Bihar have not been given land till date. But the Mahadalits of Bihar have not been given land till date. Nitish Kumar had announced to give three decimals of land to the landless from the lakhs of acres of land received in the Bhoodan movement. Now Prashant Kishore has asked the government for complete details of Bhudani land so that landless people can be given land to build houses. Under the pretext of Prashant Kishore’s demand for Bhudani land from the Bihar government, there is a need to know the truth about Bhudani land within the country. It is worth mentioning that according to the Bhoodan Yagyaa Samiti established across the country, a total of 47 lakh, 63 thousand, 676 acres of land was donated for the landless under the Bhoodan movement of Sarvodaya leader Vinoba Bhave. In this donation, the maximum land was donated by the landlords of Bihar and Jharkhand. While the landlords of Jharkhand had donated 14 lakh 69 thousand 280 acres of land, the landlords of Bihar had donated 6 lakh 48 thousand 593 acres of land to Vinoba ji. According to the information, out of the Bhoodan land, 2,78,320 acres of land is said to have been distributed in Bihar so far, while the remaining 3,40,273 acres of Bhoodan land is still said to be under the control of the Bihar government and Bhoodan Yagya Samiti. But no one knows if this land even exists or has been looted and occupied by land mafia in collusion with the government and government officials. Whenever the government talks about this land, it says that this land will be distributed among the landless but right now it does not seem to be happening.
When Nitish Kumar talked about giving Bhudani land to the landless, the landless people of Bihar kept voting for JDU for many years in the greed for land and JDU kept getting the benefit of it. But the landless people of Bihar are still waiting for land. Now once again Prashant Kishor has increased Nitish’s problems by searching for Bhudani land. On the other hand, the story of Jharkhand is also similar to Bihar. Governments keep changing in Jharkhand but the anti-people attitude of the government never changes. On the other hand, the story of Jharkhand is similar to that of Bihar. Governments keep changing in Jharkhand but the anti-people attitude of the government never changes. Since the year 2000, Jharkhand is running in the same way as it was running in united Bihar. The difference after the formation of the new state is that now elections are held every five years and a government is formed. But the fight for the welfare of the tribal society, protection of land owners and security of the poor, which Dishom Guru Shibu Soren fought for, is not visible even after 25 years of the formation of the state.
The country had a lot of expectations from Jharkhand. All the governments of Jharkhand have been talking about giving land suitable for settlement to the poor, landless and tribals. All the governments formed in the last 25 years have talked about protecting the poor and tribals but no government has implemented it. At the time of elections, there is talk of distributing Bhoodan land among the landless, but after the elections, everything cools down. Let us tell you that during the Bhoodan movement, the maximum land was donated by the landlords of Jharkhand. The landlords of Jharkhand donated 14 lakh 69 thousand 280 acres of land. Out of these lands, only 4,88,735 acres of land is said to have been distributed so far, whereas 9,80,545 acres i.e. about 10 lakh acres of land is still lying unused. But no one knows where this land is and in what condition it is. Arvind Anjum, a member of Bhudan Yagya Samiti, says that “This can be implemented only when the government’s intentions are right.” Anjum also gives a figure. According to him, “more than four lakh acres of Bhudan land was distributed and then it was told that more than two lakh acres of land was left for cultivation, while about seven and a half lakh acres of land was considered unfit. This was fifty years ago. The truth is that today no land is unfit.
Obviously, either this land is present in the state or it has been looted. Now only the government can launch a big campaign and take possession of the land and give it to the landless. There is still 10 lakh acres of land left in the state whose whereabouts are not known yet. On the other hand, Rajkumar Sinha, who was the joint secretary of the state’s revenue department, had said that “The Yagya committee has to find out how much Bhudani land is left in the state and what is its status. Now the committee should tell where how much land is there.”
Overall, the Bhudani land is stuck in political intrigues or the politicians, ministers, contractors, and the powerful have looted the Bhudani land. A large part of the population in India has been landless since independence. They do not have land for farming, let alone 6 yards of land for burial. With this thinking, Gandhi’s true man Vinoba Bhave started going from village to village and asking for land from landlords to give land to the landless. For this, Vinoba ji first started walking from his Panwar Ashram in 1951 and reached Shivarampalli village in the south of Hyderabad. The third Sarvodaya conference was organized there.
Vinoba ji reached Nanglond on 18 April 1951. This area was still echoing with the slogans of Lal Salaam. Vinoba ji stayed in Pochampalli village. In this village with a population of 700, two thirds of the people were landless. The landless demanded 80 acres of land from Vinoba ji. On Vinoba ji’s request, the village landlord Ramchandra Reddy announced to give 100 acres of land. After this, Vinoba ji gave it the form of a movement and took more than 47 lakh acres of land as donation from the entire country in his life. The task of distributing this land was given to the state and district Bhudan committee. Since land is a state matter, the cooperation of the state government is n ecessary. But it is seen that Bhudan land has been looted. According to the Bhoodan Yagya Samiti established across the country, a total of 47 lakh, 63 thousand, 676 acres of land was donated for the landless under the Bhoodan movement of Sarvodaya leader Vinoba Bhave. Much of this land was also distributed to the landless, but even today, about half of the land is a victim of loot. Modi ji’s government is in power at the centre, so it can be expected that he will also pay attention to this loot and chaos.
