New Delhi: Pakistan, with malicious intent, launched a cowardly attack on India under the cover of darkness, targeting innocent civilians and infrastructure in cities like Pathankot, Udhampur, Srinagar, Pokhran, and others. The Pakistani military used drones, long-range weapons, and fighter jets to strike military bases, schools, and hospitals. India’s robust air defense system neutralized missiles and drones mid-air, rendering Pakistan’s efforts futile. In a decisive response, India conducted Operation Sindoor, obliterating Pakistan’s Rahim Yar Khan and Chaklala airbases, along with their defense systems. The Indian Armed Forces, led by Colonel Sofia Qureshi, Wing Commander Vyomika Singh, and Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, provided a detailed briefing on the operation.

Pakistan’s False Claims Exposed: Pakistan falsely claimed to have destroyed India’s S-400 defense system and damaged airfields in Surat and Sirsa, claims India categorically rejected. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri condemned Pakistan’s provocative actions, emphasizing India’s responsible retaliation. Colonel Sofia Qureshi revealed Pakistan’s relentless attacks on western borders using drones, long-range weapons, and loitering munitions. Wing Commander Vyomika Singh noted Pakistan’s troop movements toward forward areas, signaling intent to escalate tensions. India’s armed forces, fully prepared, have countered every attack effectively, exposing Pakistan’s propaganda and maintaining operational superiority.

Targeting Civilians and Infrastructure: Pakistan attempted to strike 26 locations, including civilian infrastructure like schools and hospitals in Srinagar, Avantipur, and Udhampur, showcasing their unprofessional and irresponsible tactics. Colonel Sofia Qureshi highlighted how India neutralized multiple threats, though Pakistan managed minor damage to equipment and personnel at airbases in Udhampur, Bhuj, and Pathankot. At 1:40 AM, Pakistan fired high-speed missiles targeting Punjab’s airbase. India’s swift response ensured minimal damage, but the attack on civilian facilities underscored Pakistan’s disregard for international norms.

India’s Decisive Retaliation: In retaliation, India targeted Pakistan’s military installations, including radar sites, command centers, and weapon depots in Rafiqi, Murid, Chaklala, and Sialkot, using precision munitions and fighter jets. Colonel Sofia Qureshi emphasized that India ensured minimal collateral damage during these strikes. Meanwhile, Pakistan’s shelling in Rajouri killed Additional District Development Commissioner Raj Kumar Thapa and injured several others. Wing Commander Vyomika Singh reiterated India’s commitment to de-escalation, provided Pakistan reciprocates, while affirming readiness to counter any aggression.
