New Delhi: On May 22, 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a powerful address in Bikaner, Rajasthan, during the inauguration of various development projects. He spoke with intensity about the Indian armed forces’ decisive action against Pakistan in Operation Sindoor, emphasizing that the operation forced Pakistan to its knees. Modi declared that the world and India’s enemies have now witnessed the consequences of “sindoor (vermilion) turning to gunpowder,” adding, “Garam sindoor runs through my veins now.”

A New Form of Justice Against Terrorism
Modi described India’s response as a “new form of justice,” signaling a shift in policy towards zero tolerance for terrorism. He made it clear that India will no longer engage in trade or talks with Pakistan, stating that any future dialogue will focus solely on Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). The Prime Minister’s remarks come in the wake of the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, which claimed 26 lives and prompted India’s retaliatory strikes under Operation Sindoor.

Three Key Principles to Combat Terror
The Prime Minister outlined three critical takeaways from recent developments: India will deliver a befitting reply to every terror attack, the country will not be intimidated by Pakistan’s threats of nuclear action, and India will treat Pakistan’s state and non-state actors as a single entity. Modi’s address underscored a hardened stance, with Operation Sindoor destroying nine major terror hideouts in just 22 minutes, as he noted during the rally.

    Operation Sindoor’s Impact on Pakistan
Modi highlighted the success of Operation Sindoor, stating that Pakistan’s Rahim Yar Khan airbase is now “in ICU” following India’s precision airstrikes. He contrasted this with Pakistan’s failed attempt to target the Nal airbase in Bikaner, emphasizing India’s military superiority. The Prime Minister also referenced the broader context of India-Pakistan relations, noting that Pakistan has resorted to terrorism because it cannot win a direct war against India.

A Message from Rajasthan’s Brave Land
Addressing the crowd in Bikaner, a border town recently targeted by Pakistani drones, Modi drew on Rajasthan’s legacy of bravery. He recalled the Pahalgam attack, where terrorists singled out victims by religion and “wiped the sindoor off our sisters’ foreheads.” Modi asserted that the attack united 140 crore Indians in a pledge to destroy terrorism, a promise fulfilled through the armed forces’ swift retaliation.
