Terror in Retreat: Jaish Flees as India Signals Retaliation Post-Pahalgam Attack

Panic in Pakistan: Terror camps dismantled overnight amid fear of Indian strikes
Jaish Headquarters Abandoned: Massive Balakot-like response feared by terror outfits
Valley Under Operation Mode: Indian forces intensify hunt; multiple encounters erupt

New Delhi: In the wake of the brutal terror strikes in Pahalgam and Pulwama, Indian resolve has triggered widespread panic across Pakistani terror networks. Intelligence reports reveal that Jaish-e-Mohammed, the Pakistan-based terror outfit, has emptied its primary headquarters and training camps, anticipating a swift and severe response from India.

According to sources, terrorists fled key launch pads and training bases, particularly in Bahawalpur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), within hours of India’s aggressive posture. The massive Bahawalpur HQ, known to house thousands of militants across 18 heavily fortified units, has now gone eerily silent.

India’s immediate diplomatic and strategic actions—including halting water supplies to Pakistan and tightening border security—sent shockwaves across the border. The fear of an imminent Indian air strike, reminiscent of the 2019 Balakot operation, led to the rapid dismantling of terrorist hideouts and relocation of senior Jaish commanders to secret locations.

Within just 24 hours of the Pahalgam bloodshed, multiple Jaish buildings were vacated. This hasty withdrawal marks a significant shift, revealing the terror groups’ vulnerability and fear of India’s retaliatory might.

Meanwhile, back in the Valley, Indian security forces have launched high-intensity search and destroy operations. In the Duddu-Basantgarh area of Udhampur, an encounter is underway between army units and armed terrorists. According to military intelligence, over 100 terrorists are believed to be active in the region, and the Indian Army has initiated a systematic neutralization mission.

Joint forces, including Jammu police and army battalions, are combing through sensitive zones, determined to eliminate terror networks embedded within Kashmir.

As India’s security apparatus operates on high alert, this strategic crackdown is a strong message: India will not let terror go unpunished.
