New Delhi: Indian air defense systems sprang into action at 3:50 am on Friday, countering Pakistan’s second attempt to strike Jammu with drones and munitions. The attack followed a major assault just hours earlier on Thursday evening. A complete blackout was enforced to ensure safety, with intermittent blasts heard until 4:45 am. The Indian Army’s robust response ensured no casualties or damage to military or civilian infrastructure, showcasing the nation’s preparedness.

    Ceasefire Violations Escalate Tensions
Pakistan’s aggression extended beyond drones, with multiple ceasefire violations reported along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir. Heavy artillery shelling targeted various locations across Jammu province, escalating cross-border tensions. The Indian Army issued a statement affirming its commitment to safeguarding national sovereignty, vowing to respond forcefully to all provocations. The situation underscored the volatile dynamics along the western border.

    Infiltration Bid Foiled in Samba
Amid the chaos, Pakistani troops facilitated an infiltration attempt in the Samba sector, which was decisively thwarted by the Border Security Force (BSF) around 11:00 pm on Thursday. While it remains unclear if any terrorists were neutralized, a thorough search operation is underway. The BSF’s vigilance ensured the breach was contained, reinforcing India’s multi-layered security apparatus along the International Border.

    Return to Normalcy Amid Vigilance
By Friday morning, Jammu city resumed normal activities, with shops and markets bustling despite the overnight unrest. Chief Minister Omar Abdullah arrived from Srinagar to assess the situation, urging calm among residents. The swift restoration of order highlighted the resilience of Jammu’s citizens and the effectiveness of India’s defense mechanisms in countering external threats.

Jammu stands strong as Indian forces repel Pakistan’s aggressive designs. With normalcy restored, the nation remains vigilant, ready to counter any future threats with unwavering resolve.
