    Casualties and Ceasefire Violations
New Delhi: Pakistani forces shelled dozens of villages along the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday, killing seven and injuring 38. Poonch district bore the brunt with seven fatalities and 25 injuries, while Uri and Rajouri reported ten and three injuries, respectively.

    Operation Sindoor Triggers Retaliation
The shelling began after India’s “Operation Sindoor,” a pre-dawn mission that destroyed nine terrorist bases in Pakistan and PoK. Targeting Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba, the strikes responded to the April 22 Pahalgam attack, which killed 26 civilians.

    Precision Strikes Avoid Military Targets
Conducted entirely from Indian soil, Operation Sindoor involved the Army, Navy, and Air Force using SCALP missiles, HAMMER bombs, and loitering munitions. The operation avoided Pakistani military installations, focusing solely on terror infrastructure with real-time intelligence.
