    New Delhi:

    Road Rage Turns Violent

An FIR has been filed against Wing Commander Shiladitya Bose after a counter-complaint by Vikas Kumar, a call centre employee. The clash occurred early Monday morning, with both sides accusing each other of assault. The IAF officer had earlier accused Kumar and his group of attacking him, leading to Kumar’s initial arrest.

    Viral Videos Spark Outrage

Footage circulating online shows the IAF officer allegedly roughing up Kumar in public, even as his wife, also an IAF officer, tried to intervene. The altercation reportedly began when Kumar questioned a remark made by the officer’s wife while they were en route to the airport.

    Police Probe Underway

Deputy Commissioner of Police (East) Devaraj D confirmed that both parties exchanged blows. CCTV and bystander videos suggest the conflict could have been avoided. Kumar’s mother, Jyothi, has demanded justice, alleging that the officer damaged her son’s bike and assaulted him.

    Complaints from Both Sides

The officer’s wife, Squadron Leader Madhumita Dutta, filed a complaint against unknown persons, leading to Kumar’s arrest. However, Kumar later submitted a counter-complaint, prompting police to book the IAF officer under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

    What Happens Next?

Authorities are examining video evidence to determine the sequence of events. The case has drawn public attention, raising questions about accountability and road rage incidents involving defence personnel.

    Outro:
As investigations continue, the case highlights tensions on Bengaluru’s roads and the need for restraint in confrontational situations.
