    Srinagar | April 23, 2025

In one of the deadliest terror attacks in recent times, at least 28 people were killed and several others injured in a targeted strike on Hindu tourists in the scenic town of Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir. Among the survivors is Pallavi, a woman who lost her husband right before her eyes—and heard a message from the terrorists no Indian will forget soon.

“I told them, ‘Kill me too, you’ve already taken my husband,’” Pallavi tearfully recounted.
“One of them replied — ‘I won’t kill you. Go tell Modi.’”

Pallavi, visibly shaken but courageous, shared the horrifying experience from the attack site. She said the attack was clearly premeditated, with the gunmen specifically targeting Hindu tourists. “They were four of them, heavily armed. It was all planned,” she added.

    Terrorists Had a Clear Agenda

Pallavi’s testimony underlines the sectarian motives behind the ambush. Her chilling statement reveals the mindset of the attackers—sending a direct political message to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In a heartfelt plea, she urged authorities to expedite the return of her husband’s body to their hometown in Shivamogga, Karnataka.

“The terrain is rough. It’s not possible to bring the body down easily. It must be airlifted. We want him back immediately.”

Nation Reacts: PM Modi, Amit Shah Assure Justice

Prime Minister Narendra Modi strongly condemned the attack, calling it a “heinous act of terror”, and vowed to bring the perpetrators to justice.

“Those behind this horrific act will not be spared. Justice will be served,” PM Modi stated.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who rushed to Srinagar for a high-level security review, echoed a similar resolve.

“We will hunt down every individual involved. The terrorists and their handlers will face the consequences.”

    Social Media Erupts in Support

Citizens across India have rallied behind Pallavi, flooding social media with demands for justice and fast action from the government. Hashtags like #JusticeForPallavi and #PahalgamAttack are trending nationwide.

    The Road Ahead

As the nation mourns the loss of innocent lives, the government’s next moves will be watched closely. With security forces already intensifying their presence in the valley, a major crackdown on terror networks is expected in the coming days.
