Russia’s aim is to defeat Ukraine at any cost. NATO and Western countries are adding fuel to the fire. After Ukraine, NATO’s Baltic countries are Russia’s next target, Germany, NATO claim.
New Delhi: After Ukraine’s Operation Spider Web wreaked havoc in Russia, the flame of revenge burning in the heart of Russian President Vladimir Putin is not getting extinguished even after the devastation in Ukraine. Since Operation Spider Web was not in the control of Ukraine alone, certainly the role of NATO, UK, America, Germany and the whole of Europe has been exposed in it.
Europe is taking Russia’s threat lightly
This is the reason why all these countries have now come under Russia’s target. Putin has been warning all these countries including America from the very beginning that they should stay away from the Russia-Ukraine war or else be ready to face the consequences, but all these countries including NATO ignored Putin’s warning. In such a situation, if Putin comes out of Ukraine and turns his missiles towards NATO countries, it will start from Poland and then slowly he will move towards Britain, France, Germany.
Donald Trump shrugs off Russia-Ukraine row
America will not come to save Europe, US President Donald Trump has already made his stand clear. After Operation Spider Web, he is also angry at Ukraine’s President Zelensky. Actually, due to his friendship with Putin, Trump made a mistake in understanding Vladimir Putin. Putin is not only well aware of the character of the leaders of America and Western countries for the last two decades but he has also been suffering from them.
Putin does not intend to stop soon
Ukraine says that Russia sometimes talks about ceasefire and sometimes intensifies attacks, due to which Trump’s irritation has increased. In such a situation, questions are being raised that what is the ultimate goal of Vladimir Putin? In such a situation, amid uncertainty, senior officials of Ukraine are warning that Putin does not intend to stop soon. The war can continue for at least two more years.
What strategy is Putin planning?
The intelligence agency says that Putin can try the Little Green Man strategy again, as was done during the occupation of Crimea in 2014. Russia had then occupied government buildings under the cover of unmarked soldiers and civilians. The same strategy can be repeated in Estonia or the Baltic countries, so that NATO’s response can be tested. After Ukraine, Baltic countries Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Finland are Russia’s prime targets.
Claim of Germany’s intelligence agency
German intelligence agency chief Bruno Kahl has said that he has intelligence information, which shows that Russia is preparing to move towards the West. Testing NATO’s promise of collective defense can be an important part of Putin’s strategy. This does not mean that Russia will directly enter Western countries with tanks, but it can test the reaction of Western countries through small military and civilian attacks.
Dangerous warning of NATO Secretary General
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte has also given a similar warning. In a speech in London, he said that if Britain does not increase its defence expenditure, then its people “may have to learn the Russian language”. He clearly said that Russia may be in a position to attack NATO countries by 2030. This warning is a big signal for European countries that danger is looming.
