Delhi Building Collapse Kills 4, Rescue Operation Ongoing in Mustafabad
A four-storey residential building collapsed in the early hours of Saturday, leaving multiple people trapped under debris.
New Delhi: In a tragic incident on Saturday morning, a four-storey building collapsed in Delhi’s Mustafabad area around 3 a.m., leaving at least four people dead and several others trapped.
According to police, 14 people were rescued, and search efforts continue as 8 to 10 more individuals are feared trapped under the rubble. Teams from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), Delhi Police, and Delhi Fire Services are working at the site.
Additional DCP Sandeep Lamba said the reason behind the collapse is still being investigated. This incident comes just days after a wall collapse during a dust storm killed one and injured two in the capital, raising concerns over construction safety in the region.
